Spring Wreath

After the snow melts and the green buds start to pop on trees we are all ready for some color and cheer in our decor! What better way to do that and welcome others to your home than with a simple personalized front door wreath?

Spring Wreath by Colorado Anne

Materials

For this wreath I used:

  • Grape vine wreath (Michael’s)
  • Burlap wire rimmed ribbon (Michael’s)
  • Wooden “T” (Hobby Lobby)
  • Faux Ranunculus (Hobby Lobby)
  • Twine, paint, & hot glue

Assembly

  1. I wove the Ranunculus into the side of the wreath and once they were is place I secured them with hot glue, binding them to the wreath.
  2. I painted the wooden “T” a coral color and then dry brushed over with a teal color to give it texture and depth (as well as that rustic look errybody loves).
  3. I glued small pieces of twine to the back of the “T”once it had dried. I tied these to the right side of the wreath and glued them in place.
  4. I created a bow from the burlap ribbon and fluffed out the bow to the desired look and glued it into place.
  5. Last step was to create a way to hang the wreath. I did this by tying twine into a loop and knotting it onto the back of the top part of the wreath.
  6. Hang & enjoy!
